How strong is the adhesive bond on the ATM?
The bond is incredibly strong and on some versions the bond can reach over ¼ of a ton
What temperatures can the adhesive work to?
Although the adhesive needs to be fitted above 10°C (50°F) once it has cured then it can cope with extreme temperatures from -35°C (-31°F) to 138°C (280.4°F) (in extreme cold conditions the key pad is usually heated to prevent freezing so the likelihood of the surface temperature going below -35°C is extremely unlikely)
Does the PINGuard™ comply with the DDA (disability discriminations act) and ADA (American Disabilities Act)?
PINGuard™ has been designed to meet both the DDA and ADA requirement. Every reasonable means has been made to ensure that disabled people are not discriminated against. We also have special additional accessories that can further help disabled persons
Does the PINGuard™ meet the PCI standard?
The EVO1i has been designed to meet the PCI standard for PIN shield for unattended PIN entry devices
Can the PINGuard™ be bolted down?
Yes the PINGuard™ can be bolted down to the ATM for added strength.

How long does it take to install?
The standard PINGuard™ can be installed in 10 to 15 minutes. Physical fixing takes between 1-2 hours
Could criminals fit a camera to the PINGuard™?
None of the current range of PINGuards™ have had this attack. The PINGuard™ range has semi opaque sides that will show device that potential could be fitted to it. Also the design incorporates complex curves which makes it very difficult too
Can I remove the PINGuard™ if it’s no longer needed?
A removal kit can be used to completely remove the PINGuard™. A small amount of residue tape is sometimes left over but this can be cleaned or scrapped off
Will the ATM be damaged if the PINGuard™ is attacked?
The PINGuard™ is designed to be sacrificial to the ATM so if it suffers a very heavy attack the adhesive will yield just before any damage to the ATM fascia occurs.
Will less people use the ATM once the PINGuard™ is fitted?
If PINGuards™ are have never been fitted in an area or country before then we expect to see a fall of 1% to 2% in foot fall for the first 6 months. But after this we see usage return to normal as customers get used to the system. Also advertising and customer awareness greatly helps keep the usage figure as normal or slightly increase as people prefer the added security
Does it reduce crime?
Expect to see an immediate and drastic drop in shoulder surfing and camera attacks
Will the PINGuard™ be vandalised?
The PINGuard™ is incredibly strong and uses the highest grade materials. It can survive attacks with a hammer and can also survive a 1 ton car driving over it and remain operational. Additionally to this if any parts are damaged they can easily be replaced with spare components
